Yes. Indian travellers need an Inner Line Permit (ILP) and foreign nationals a Protected Area Permit (PAP). We arrange them for you before you travel. The permits are issued by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh; Himalayan Yatra is a private travel company and applies for them on your behalf as part of your trip.

Your quotation includes the hotels named in it (base room category), meals as per your meal plan, a private vehicle for all transfers and sightseeing in the itinerary, toll taxes and the driver’s allowance, the activities listed in the quote, the Inner Line Permit on Tawang trips, and all applicable taxes. Not included: flights, trains or buses to Guwahati, meals outside your plan, entry fees and camera charges, parking, personal expenses, travel insurance, and extra costs from landslides, road closures or flight delays.

Reply on the same WhatsApp chat when you are happy with the quotation. Hotels, cab and permits are confirmed once we receive your advance; until then rates are subject to availability. Changes to dates, route, rooms or travellers can change the price — we send you a new quotation.

The full quotation PDF is sent to the WhatsApp number you give, usually within minutes. If a detail needs checking, our North East team sends it to you shortly instead. There is no charge for the quotation and no obligation to book.

October to April is the most comfortable season across all three states. Kaziranga National Park closes to visitors in the monsoon and reopens for safaris after it. Meghalaya’s waterfalls are at their fullest from June to September, when heavy rain can slow the roads. In winter there can be snow around Sela Pass and Tawang — we plan the route and vehicle for your dates.

Send us your cancellation in writing. More than 60 days before departure, 90% of the package cost is refunded; 30–60 days, 75%; 15–30 days, 50%; under 15 days, no refund. If we have to cancel, you get a full refund or another tour. Refunds are processed within 30 days. The full terms are in our refund policy.
